THE STORY OF “PRIMITIVE” MAN, by Edward Clodd. Mr. Clodd wrote several books on the subject of Evolution, and the rise of mankind out of our more primitive relatives of the great ape family of Primates. All these books were written for the general reader, and while they contained good information they avoided any in-depth and technical descriptions of the subject under discussion. And so it is with this book that discusses the rise of primitive man - who, by the way, was not all that primitive - we find the subject easy to understand and interesting.
