Moore was Founder and Editor of The Blue Grass Blade, a nationally known Atheist and Prohibitionist newspaper published in Lexington Kentucky. This is the constant activities and Ex-Rev. Moore on his trip to Europe and the Orient, written as only a Kentucky native could write it. An interesting thing about travel books by unusual people is the way they see and understand the places and things they encounter. So this trip seen through the eyes and mind of C.C. Moore is well worth reading.
