This book has been so effective in getting people to investigate the Christian religion that there was an effort to discredit it, saying that it was unreliable, full of errors, etc. The fact is that it was challenged soon after it was published, the name of the Article that challenged it was: Sixteen Saviors or One. Kersey Graves answered that challenge with a book entitled: Sixteen Saviors or None, wherein he refuted all the claims of errors - Mr Graves second book is available on this Web site. Anyhow, this is an interesting book that will make you want to investigate further the evolution of religion from early times to the rise of Christianity.
