Omitted Chapters of History Disclosed in the Life and Papers of Edmund Randolph, by Moncure Daniel Conway.
Edmund Randolph was involved in a scandal and resigned his post, the charges were later found to be mostly false - as recorded in this volume, because of the scandal he removed himself from politics for the practice of law. Randolph was an interesting person and this collection of his papers and events from his life give us an important view of the times and troubles of early U. S. History. Moncure Daniel Conway has produced several important books of scholarly history on several subjects, but he is best known for his books on Thomas Paine.
